13 New Cycling Tracks Completed Across Dubai

A total of 13 new cycling tracks have been completed across Dubai as part of an expanding citywide network linking residential neighbourhoods with commercial hubs and leisure destinations.
The Roads and Transport Authority said the additions form part of a master plan covering 15 routes stretching 162 kilometres, contributing to a long-term target of building a 1,000-kilometre cycling network by 2030.
The expanded routes connect multiple corridors, including links from Al Khawaneej to Al Mamzar Beach, from Al Warqa’a to Saih Al Salam, and from the Dubai International Financial Centre to Jumeirah.
The network is designed to support first- and last-mile connectivity by linking residential areas with public transport stations and key destinations.
Recent figures indicate that total cycling track length increased from 560 kilometres in 2024 to 636 kilometres in 2025, while cycling trips rose by 23.5% to 57.3 million. User satisfaction reached 85%, with more than 22% of residents now having access to cycling facilities. Dubai has also entered the top 100 of the Copenhagenize Index, becoming the first city in the Middle East to feature in the global ranking.
