Al-Azhar & Coptic Church Launch Initiative Promoting Family Stability

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy announced that ‘The Religious Guide for Family Awareness’ is the first in a series of publications aimed at addressing family-related issues that pose societal challenges and may hinder development efforts. This guide is the result of a collaborative effort between Al-Azhar, the Coptic Church, and the Ministry of Health and Population.

The guide aims to correct misconceptions about various family issues and promote societal stability by outlining the components of a family from religious, social, and health perspectives. It emphasizes family responsibilities, including spiritual, moral, social, scientific, and economic preparations, and highlights the mutual rights and responsibilities of spouses and their children.
