Cabinet Reissues Free Transit Visa at All Egyptian Airports

The Egyptian Cabinet has approved the continued issuance of free 96-hour transit visas for travellers at all Egyptian airports until the end of April 2025. This extension includes additional Egyptian airlines alongside EgyptAir.

The Cabinet has also given preliminary approval to grant free emergency entry visas to foreigners upon their arrival in the country during the summer season through Luxor International Airport and Aswan International Airport. This applies to passengers on Egyptian airlines who are nationals of countries eligible for an emergency visa.
