Cairo Intl Airport to Add New Terminal With USD 4 Billion Investment

Cairo International Airport is set to undergo a USD 4 billion expansion aimed at enhancing its capacity and services. The development plan includes the construction of a new terminal capable of accommodating 30 to 40 million passengers annually, an increase from the current capacity of 28 million.

Among the improvements already introduced to Cairo International Airport is the addition of approximately 2,000 new baggage carts to enhance the passenger experience.

Developments are also underway at the Arab Airport Tower, with plans to invite a dedicated committee to review progress as part of ongoing upgrades.
