The university hospital pledged continued free, high-quality care for all university affiliates, with services including comprehensive exams, tests, surgeries and medicines without coverage limits. Doctors, nurses and other employees of the hospital were also recently awarded a EGP 1,000 bonus in recognition of their service.
Under new management, Cairo University's healthcare network has transformed over six years via major projects. Achievements include the establishment of specialised facilities like an Oncology Institute and the Emergency Hospital's 7,000-square-metre expansion.
