The Egyptian Tourism Authority also launched joint marketing campaigns and tailored experiences to attract more travelers, with a long-term goal of welcoming 3 million Chinese tourists annually by 2028.

Social media platforms such as China’s RedNote have amplified Egypt’s appeal, showcasing the grandeur of its ancient sites.

Overall, Egypt welcomed 15.7 million visitors in 2024, a record-breaking figure contributing to the nation's goal of attracting 18 million visitors by the end of 2025.
