The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company has just entered into an agreement to manufacture a ship that would become the nation's first floating power station.

The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has just signed a memorandum of understanding with a number of parties to manufacture a ship that would become Egypt’s first floating power station.
The contract includes many participating parties such as the Tanmia Company for Consulting and Engineering Services and the Alexandria Arsenal Company, a leading shipbuilding and repair enterprise. Under this plan, they would coordinate and cooperate with Delta Marine, a Finnish ship design company.
The memorandum outlined a series of operations required for the endeavor to come to fruition, including evaluations, check-ups and discussion of starting points. The ships need to manage to generate enough power to self-propel as well as establish a fully functioning power station.
