Daylight Saving Time Will Be Reintroduced in Egypt

The Egyptian government is officially reintroducing daylight saving time, eight years after it was initially abandoned. The decision was made to reduce energy consumption during the summer.

As per the new schedule, clocks will be set one hour ahead at midnight on April 28th, 2023, and will revert to standard time on October 6th, 2023. This change will affect work and school schedules, as well as public transportation and travel arrangements.
