UAE Schools Integrate Cybersecurity Into National Curriculum From 2025
UAE introduces cybersecurity into the national curriculum for Grades 1–12, equipping students to use the internet safely.

The Ministry of Education will incorporate cybersecurity into the national curriculum for pupils from Grade 1 through Grade 12 beginning in the 2025–26 school year, delivering both theoretical foundations and hands-on digital safety learning.
Lessons grow more sophisticated by stage: younger children explore the internet and how to stay safe online, middle years examine protective measures and spotting risk, while high schoolers study networks and delve into advanced threats. Grade 12 includes a dedicated guide preparing them for further study or career paths in cybersecurity.
This move follows a wider policy push to introduce 21st-century skillsets into the curriculum, part of the broader context of digital transformation across UAE schools.
