The case began when a woman in Cairo’s Mokattam district said she was verbally harassed and followed by a man after leaving her workplace. The encounter escalated on a public bus, and she shared a video of the incident on social media, which quickly went viral.
Authorities later identified the suspect through CCTV footage and arrested him. During the investigation, the defendant denied all allegations.
