These patterns were highlighted in Google’s Year in Search MENA 2025 overview for the Kingdom.
Digital transformation dominated Google Search trends in Saudi Arabia in 2025. Saudis turned to Search to navigate an increasingly digitised lifestyle, with top queries including the Qobool admissions platform, National Guard registration, and the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas). These patterns were highlighted in Google’s Year in Search MENA 2025 overview for the Kingdom.
Entertainment remained a key driver of search activity. Google noted continued interest in 'Shabab Al Bomb 13' and rising searches for the new series 'Fahd Al Batal', reflecting the role of local drama in Saudi viewing habits.
Saudi users also showed strong interest in artificial intelligence tools. Google cited high search activity for Google Gemini alongside Hailuo AI, aligning with a broader regional rise in AI literacy captured across the MENA round-up.
