Diriyah Season Launches Diriyah Narrative Festival From January 30th
The festival will host over 150 speakers and experts, 50 publishers, and a wide array of immersive experiences.
Diriyah Season is set to unveil the Diriyah Narrative Festival, the region's largest literary event, from January 30th to February 8th, 2025. Held across three iconic venues in Diriyah - namely Al-Bujairi Terrace, Bab Samhan Hotel and Al-Zouyehrah Farm - the festival will host over 150 speakers and experts, 50 publishers, and a wide array of immersive experiences under Diriyah Season’s ‘A Land That Inspires’ theme.
Designed for literature and storytelling enthusiasts, the festival offers opportunities to engage with celebrated authors, explore behind-the-scenes narratives, and participate in workshops on writing, visual storytelling, music composition, and adapting novels into films or animations.
The event features a dedicated exhibition, live culinary experiences inspired by global literary works, and a ‘Young Storyteller’ area fostering children’s creativity. A standout highlight is the ‘Writer’s Retreat’, an exclusive, tranquil eight-day program for Saudi authors, offering expert guidance and scenic inspiration overlooking Wadi Safar.
