Qunoot Supplications to Be Recited in Dubai Mosques From March 18th

Qunoot supplications will be recited during Fajr and Maghrib prayers across mosques in Dubai starting March 18th, 2026.
The directive was issued by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and instructs imams to include the Qunoot during the dawn and sunset congregational prayers from that date.
The guidance also calls on members of the community to attend their local mosques and participate in the supplications. The recitations will focus on prayers for the continued security and safety of the United Arab Emirates.
The instruction applies to mosques across the emirate and centres specifically on the inclusion of Qunoot within the two daily prayers.
