The top four drone racers will qualify for the finals on April 21st.
The Drones Champions Race, the first of its kind in Sharjah, will be held on April 20th and the 21st at Al Majaz Amphitheatre. The competition will feature 16 elite drone racers who are world champions and have won international awards, including 2018 world champion Paul Nurkala.
MultiGP, the world’s largest drone racing league, is co-organising the race alongside Sharjah Government Media Bureau. Drone races are divided into two types - one based on speed and accuracy, and the other focused on free display of skill in flying. The world’s most skilled racers will be competing in four qualifiers, before the top four racers qualify for the finals on April 21st.
