Dubai Expands Free Wi-Fi Access Across Public Transport Stations
A partnership between e& (Etisalat) and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) improves connectivity across the emirate’s public transport network.
In partnership with e& (Etisalat), Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the installation of free Wi-Fi at 17 public bus stations and 12 marine transport stations throughout the emirate.
This service allows the public to access free Wi-Fi on all devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Free Wi-Fi is already available on the Red and Green Lines of the Dubai Metro. Plans are underway to extend the Etisalat Wi-Fi service to all 43 RTA bus stations and marine transport stations. The full installation is expected to be completed by mid-summer 2025.
