Dubai Police’s New USD 272 Million Academy to Be Completed by 2027
The 155-hectare site will provide world-class training for police officers and feature a range of cutting-edge facilities.
Dubai Police have unveiled plans for their new state-of-the-art Police Academy, a USD 272 million facility set to be completed by 2027. Located in Al Ruwayyah 1, the ambitious project is part of a broader AED 2 billion (USD 545 million) initiative aimed at enhancing security infrastructure, investing in specialized police training, and improving the welfare of police personnel.
Launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the academy will provide world-class training for police officers and feature a range of cutting-edge facilities. The expansive 155-hectare site will accommodate 2,500 cadets and is divided into four key zones: residential housing for up to 1,200 male and female cadet officers, academic buildings, sports facilities, and a main police operations training field.
The academy's facilities will support both the academic and physical development of officers, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle the demands of modern law enforcement.
Notably, the complex will also include a 3.5-kilometre cycling and running track and a sports zone with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, football field, and various outdoor courts.
