Dubai's First Integrated Cancer Hospital Will Open in 2026
As part of Dubai Health, the development will encompass an array of care services within a single location.
Dubai Health, the first integrated academic health system in Dubai, announced the forthcoming inauguration of the emirate's first integrated and comprehensive cancer hospital in 2026.
The design of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital was revealed during a ceremony attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. The development of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital is being facilitated through donations received through Al Jalila Foundation, the driving force behind Dubai Health's philanthropic endeavours. The combined contributions from individuals and organisations will play a crucial role in establishing the 56,000 square-metre hospital.
Located in the Al Jaddaf area, the hospital is planned to accommodate 50 clinics, 30 clinical research areas, 60 infusion rooms, 10 urgent care rooms, five radiotherapy rooms and 116 in-patient beds.
“The Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital honours the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum,” Sheikh Hamdan shared in a statement.
The project’s collaborative approach aims to offer patients a comprehensive array of care services within a single location, covering everything from early diagnosis to treatment and supportive care.
