Egypt & Turkey Partner to Produce Unmanned Military Ground Vehicles
The UGVs are intended for use in military operations, border security, and logistics support.

Egypt’s Kader Advanced Industrial Factory, part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, has signed a pivotal agreement with Turkish defense firm HAVELSAN to co-produce unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in Egypt. The collaboration aims to enhance Egypt’s defense capabilities and promote technology transfer between the two countries.
Under the terms of the agreement, advanced UGV systems will be produced at Kader’s facilities in Egypt, leveraging Turkish engineering expertise and HAVELSAN’s cutting-edge technologies, including AI, swarm intelligence, and real-time data processing.
The joint production of unmanned ground vehicles will serve various critical military and security purposes, including reconnaissance, surveillance, border protection, and logistics support. The UGVs are designed to operate effectively across diverse terrains and in challenging conditions, significantly enhancing Egypt's defense capabilities and positioning the country as a regional hub for unmanned systems production.
