Egypt’s Tourism Revenue Reaches USD 6.6 Billion in H1 of 2024
This marks a 5% increase in revenues, compared to the same period last year.

Egypt’s tourism revenue has reached USD 6.6 billion in the first half of 2024, compared to USD 6.3 billion in the same period of 2023, marking a 5% increase. This also marks an 18% increase since 2010, which saw revenues of USD 5.6 billion.
The country has welcomed 7.069 million tourists between January and June 2024. The government aspires to welcome 30 million tourists into the country annually by 2028.
