Egypt to Receive 5.2 Million Doses of Moderna & Pfizer Vaccine
The new batch of Moderna and Pfizer vaccine comes as the country seeks to protect the population against COVID-19, after the ‘Delta’ variant was officially declared present in the country.

Egypt’s vaccination campaign is getting a boost with 5.2 million doses of Moderna and Pfizer jabs set to be delivered to the country in September.
The news comes as the country ramps up its efforts to safeguard the population against COVID-19 after the ‘Delta’ variant was officially declared present in the country. Egypt is thus aiming to increase its vaccination rates to 800,000 per day, and to have 40 million people vaccinated over the next three months. So far, 7.5 million Egyptians have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
