Eid Al Fitr & Eid Al Adha Dates Forecasted in the UAE for 2026

Astronomical calculations indicate that Eid Al Fitr in the United Arab Emirates is likely to begin on Friday, March 20th, 2026, which would place the public holiday between Friday, March 20th and Sunday, March 22nd. As with all Islamic holidays, the final dates remain subject to official moon sighting and confirmation by authorities.
The exact duration of the Eid Al Fitr break depends on when Ramadan begins and whether the lunar month lasts 29 or 30 days. If Ramadan starts on February 18th and lasts 30 days, the holiday could extend until Monday, March 23rd. If Ramadan is observed for 29 days, Eid may begin on either Thursday, March 19th or Friday, March 20th, resulting in holiday periods ranging from three to four days when combined with the weekend.
