Emirati Passport Validity Extended to 10 Years
The new passports will be available to citizens aged 21 years and older.

Effective July 8th, 2024, Emirati citizens aged 21 and above will be able to have their passport validity extended to 10 years.
Previously, passport validity was limited to five years. Major General Suhail Juma Al Khaili confirmed the 10-year validity is exclusive to citizens over 21. Those under 21 will continue to receive passports that are valid for five years. The new passports will be issued through the existing procedures and established delivery channels.
