Entertainment Complex Seven Al Hamra to Open in Riyadh in 2026
Part of Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ SR50 billion USD 13.3 billion programme, with Formula E karting, Flow House surfing, indoor skydiving and an indoor hubless Ferris wheel
Seven Al-Hamra, a new entertainment complex in Riyadh developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures, is scheduled to open in the second half of 2026. It is one of 14 destinations the company is developing across Saudi Arabia under a SAR 50 billion (USD 13.3 billion) programme to expand leisure options. The SR3.6 billion site will cover 168,000 sq metres of activity space across 10 zones, with 19 homegrown attractions and five based on international intellectual properties.
Planned experiences include Formula E karting simulators, a Flow House surfing venue and an indoor skydiving chamber. The destination will also feature what developers describe as the world’s first Transformers attraction developed with Hasbro, science-themed adventures with Warner Bros Discovery, and climbing challenges equipped with wall-tracking technology and interactive scoring. An indoor hubless Ferris wheel will serve as the visual centrepiece, and simulation, motion and safety technologies are slated to be embedded throughout. Saudi Entertainment Ventures
emphasised that Seven Al-Hamra is an entertainment destination rather than a theme park.
Design considerations include ease of use for visitors wearing traditional thobes and abayas, wheelchair-accessible elevators, prayer rooms and adaptive activity areas, alongside spaces for spectators to observe activities. Developers said the project aims to support local talent and create jobs while contributing to quality-of-life objectives under Saudi Vision 2030.
