Five-Day Campaign Launched in Abu Dhabi to Address Neglected Vehicles
As part of the ‘My Clean Vehicle’ campaign, municipal inspectors are identifying neglected vehicles and issuing warnings to their owners.
In a bid to enhance public aesthetics and community responsibility, Abu Dhabi City Municipality has initiated the 'My Clean Vehicle' campaign, running for five days, aimed at addressing the issue of abandoned vehicles across the emirate.
As part of the campaign, municipal inspectors are actively identifying neglected vehicles and issuing warnings to their owners. Abandoning vehicles not only impacts the urban landscape but also constitutes an offense, carrying penalties that include fines of up to AED 3,000 and potential vehicle confiscation. Through this campaign, the municipality seeks to educate vehicle owners about the detrimental effects of leaving cars abandoned or covered in dust, urging them to prioritize the aesthetic integrity of their neighborhoods.
In addition to issuing warnings, the campaign emphasizes broader educational efforts focused on maintaining the cleanliness of residential areas and promoting a healthy living environment. By instilling a sense of pride and responsibility among residents, the initiative aims to mitigate negative behaviors that contribute to urban decay.
