Fourth Edition of Sharm El Sheikh Camel Race Takes Off This January

The fourth edition of the Camel Race in Sharm El-Sheikh has been officially announced, boasting 1,380 participants this season. 

Scheduled to take place from January 20th to January 22nd, the event will unfold at the Camel Track, where participants hailing from 25 tribes across 17 Egyptian governorates will vie for victory.

The Camel Track in Sharm El-Sheikh holds a distinguished reputation as the premiere camel racing track in Africa and commands a position among the top five globally. 

Widely acknowledged as a significant sport for Arab tourists, camel racing, particularly the Sharm El-Sheikh Camel Race, has historically been a cherished tradition deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of the region dating back centuries.
