Fuel Prices Increase Across Egypt Effective Thursday July 25th
The previous adjustment saw a rise of EGP 1 per liter in March 2024.
The Petroleum Pricing Committee (PPC) has announced a hike in gasoline and diesel prices across Egypt.
As of today, July 25th, the price of 80-octane gasoline has increased from EGP 11 to EGP 12.25 per liter. The price of 92-octane gasoline has risen from EGP 12.5 to EGP 13.75 per liter, and 95-octane gasoline now costs EGP 15 per liter, up from EGP 13.5. Regular diesel has seen an increase from EGP 10 to EGP 11.5 per liter. Additionally, the price of kerosene has also been adjusted to EGP 11.5 per liter, including VAT.
The PPC, established by the Ministry of Petroleum, reviews and implements automatic pricing mechanisms for petroleum products quarterly. The previous adjustment saw a rise of EGP 1 per liter in March, and the committee continues to align local prices with international market trends.
