Dubai Records 6.97 Million International Overnight Visitors in 2026

Dubai recorded 6.97 million international overnight visitors between January and August 2026, according to data from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

In August alone, around 869,000 international overnight visitors arrived in the city, the highest monthly total recorded since February 2026.

The August figure contributed to the cumulative total for the first eight months of the year and marked a return to the strongest monthly visitation levels seen earlier in 2026.

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism released the figures as Arabian Travel Market 2026 opened in the city, providing an updated month-by-month picture of international overnight visitation through the end of August.
