Hajj Medical Mission Launches 35 Clinics Across Makkah & Madinah
75 doctors across the two cities will host 24 hour clinics for Egypt’s pilgrims.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population has announced that the Hajj Medical Mission will launch 35 clinics across Makkah and Madinah, advising and treating Egyptian pilgrims during their travel to Islam’s holiest sites. 75 doctors will be stationed across the two cities, operating at daily 24 hour clinics, and treating all manner of specialties including heart, kidneys, dental issues and diet clinics.
As well as treatment, the mission will also provide crucial advice and education to pilgrims before and during their travel, through tour companies as well as at airports and hotels, with awareness films screened on advertising boards at Cairo airport.
A major focus is placed on advice surrounding healthy and balanced eating, as well as how to prevent and treat cases of heat stress and stroke, for which quick treatment can make a decisive difference in outcomes for victims.
