Hans Zimmer’s ‘Diamond in the Desert’ Now Screening in UAE Cinemas
The special screening will feature music from ‘Dune’, ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Interstellar’, with visuals of Dubai’s landmarks

German composer Hans Zimmer’s latest project, ‘Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert’, has been released for screening in cinemas worldwide, showcasing Zimmer’s iconic film compositions from ‘Dune’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘Interstellar’ and more with Dubai’s landmarks providing a visual backdrop.
Filmed at Coca-Cola Arena and Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City Dubai, and directed by Grammy-nominated Paul Dugdale, the project features conversations with Zimmer’s collaborators, including filmmaker Sir Christopher Nolan, musicians Billie Eilish and Pharrell Williams, and actors Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
Zimmer, known for his work on ‘The Lion King’, ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘The Prince of Egypt’, has been a defining figure in film scoring for decades. His compositions have shaped the emotional depth of countless films, solidifying his legacy in cinema.
