Hospitality Group The Boutique Appoints Christoph Mares as CEO
The hospitality group specializes in transforming historic palaces into contemporary boutique hotels.
Boutique Group has appointed Christoph Mares as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2025. Mares, who brings over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, will lead the group in its mission to introduce Saudi hospitality and culture to the world. One of his first major initiatives will be the opening of The Red Palace, the group's debut hotel, in April 2026.
The hospitality group specializes in transforming historic palaces into contemporary boutique hotels. Before joining Boutique Group, Mares served as Chief Operating Officer at both Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Emaar Hospitality Group LLC.
