Flex, one of India's largest polyethylene production companies, will invest USD 110 million in a new project in Suez Canal’s industrial zone. The project will cover an area of 250,000 square metres and produce 30,000 tonnes of plastic per month.

The new undertaking will be implemented in two phases over the next two years, providing over 700 job opportunities. Flex's expansion into Egypt marks the company's strategic move to establish a centre for the region's local markets and the Middle East.
