Inter Milan has become the first international football club to secure a commercial licence in Saudi Arabia, aiming to expand its fanbase and establish local academies.

The Saudi Pro League is undergoing significant growth from the recruitment of top players and coaches, including the recent appointment of former AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli. However, foreign teams face challenges when it comes to operating in the country. Inter’s acquisition of this licence marks a pivotal moment in navigating these complexities.
