Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz Airport Hits 50 Million Passengers in 2025

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah recorded 50 million passengers in 2025, setting a new record for annual traffic at a Saudi airport and surpassing the previous year’s figure of 49.1 million by 1.83%. The total is the highest since the launch of civil aviation in the Kingdom and places the airport among the world’s mega airports for passenger numbers.

The 50 millionth passenger was a French national who arrived from Paris on a Saudia flight to take part in a sports tournament hosted in Jeddah. She was received by the leadership of the Jeddah Airports Company, which presented a commemorative gift to mark the occasion.

King Abdulaziz International Airport serves as a principal gateway to the Two Holy Mosques by facilitating the movement of visitors, Umrah performers, and pilgrims.
