Kasr Al Ainy Hospitals Upgraded With EGP 1.3 Billion in 2022
Kasr Al Ainy hospitals used the money to improve their services and provide free care to patients across their 3,962 beds.
Over 2022, Kasr Al Ainy Hospitals have received EGP 1.3 billion in upgrades in order to provide patients with free care. The hospitals, in association with Cairo University, treat patients through 16 branches, institutes and centres across Egypt, with a capacity of 3,692 beds overall.
Throughout the year, 50% of Kasr Al Ainy Hospital patients were admitted to the emergency room, while 27% were treated through the hospitals’ clinics. 17% of patients were referred to Kasr Al Ainy from other hospitals, whether they had been university hospitals and those affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Population. Finally, 6% were returning patients to complete treatment.
