Saudi Music Commission and Lang Lang launch Saudi’s first summer piano programme on June 29th in Riyadh, offering more than 30 students masterclasses, workshops, and live performance training.

The Saudi Music Commission will launch the Kingdom’s first summer piano programme on June 29th in collaboration with internationally renowned pianist Lang Lang. The month-long initiative will take place at the Saudi Music Hub in Riyadh and run until July 24th.
More than 30 students from across Saudi Arabia have been selected to take part in the programme. The training includes individual piano lessons, group workshops, technical sessions, and opportunities for live performance. Sessions will be led by experienced music educators and international instructors affiliated with Lang Lang’s global education initiatives.
"This initiative marks a bold new chapter in the evolution of music education in the Kingdom," Paul Pacifico, CEO of Saudi Music Commission, tells SceneNowSaudi. "By partnering with world-class international educators, we are not only nurturing the next generation of Saudi talent but also expanding the horizons of our cultural ambitions."
The programme supports the Music Commission’s goal of expanding formal music education, developing local talent, and building Saudi Arabia’s capacity in the cultural sector.
