MAHE Dubai and Cininfo launch ‘UAE Filmmakers Hub’ to connect students with industry pros through hands-on projects and events.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s Dubai campus (MAHE Dubai) and Cininfo announced a partnership to support emerging filmmakers in the UAE.
The collaboration introduces the ‘UAE Filmmakers Hub’ at MAHE Dubai, a space for students and aspiring creatives to gain hands-on experience through industry-led projects, internships and networking sessions. The university will also host Cininfo’s flagship events, offering direct engagement with professionals in directing, screenwriting, production and casting.
The initiative comes as the UAE continues to attract global film productions, with its growing infrastructure and government-backed incentives drawing international and regional projects. As the entertainment sector expands, local institutions have been exploring ways to bridge education and industry, providing students with opportunities beyond academic study.
