Man City secures a deal for Marmoush as their third major January signing.
Manchester City has reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Omar Marmoush. This marks City’s third major signing in the January transfer window.
City has also agreed terms for defenders Abdoukodir Khusanov from Lens and Victor Reis from Palmeiras. Marmoush has been a top target, with weeks of negotiations leading to the agreement.
The player has agreed to personal terms and will miss Frankfurt’s match against Dortmund to finalize the transfer. Frankfurt initially demanded around EUR 80 million, while City’s initial offer was approximately EUR 50 million.
The final transfer fee has not been disclosed, though both sides have reached an understanding.
