The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced that mid-year vacation for public university students will begin on January 25th.
During the same announcement, the ministry shared that a number of Egyptian universities have ascended in global rankings, according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2025. 35 Egyptian universities have been included in the 2025 edition, compared to 28 in the 2024 edition.
