Ministry of Finance Launches Global Cadres to Train Emiratis

The Ministry of Finance has launched the ‘Global Cadres’ initiative to increase Emirati participation in international financial institutions and expand career pathways for professionals and students alike. Targeting Emiratis working in the UAE and those studying locally or abroad, the initiative aims to encourage applications for training, secondments, and job opportunities with leading global finance organisations.

Participants will gain access to advanced skills, hands-on experience, and exposure to international standards and practices, preparing them to assume leadership roles within these institutions. Programme partners include the World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation, International Fund for Agricultural Development, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, New Development Bank, Arab Monetary Fund, and the OPEC Fund for International Development.

As part of the initiative, a series of workshops and interactive sessions will support participants in building global professional networks. These engagements are designed to strengthen both individual career growth and the national economy, aligning with broader goals to position Emiratis within global financial leadership.
