Ministry of Interior Launches Mobile Units for Issuing Passports
The units form part of the Ministry’s strategy to speed up services and modernise its mechanisms.
The Ministry of Interior has launched mobile units across Cairo in order to streamline the issuing of movement certificates and passports.
Stationed at locations such as Al-Gezira Club, Maadi Club, Heliopolis Club, Al-Shams Club, Cairo Festival Mall and Katameya Shooting Club, the units are part of the ministry’s strategy to speed up services and modernise its mechanisms.
The news follows from the ministry’s recent installation of a number of mechanised offices to enable the issuing of certificates, including birth certificates. These are installed at shopping malls in Nasr City, including City Stars, and at Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Hurghada airports.
