Ministry of Local Developments Puts USD 7.7M to Fund Small Projects
The Ministry of Local Development is funding micro projects in villages across the country.

The Ministry of Local Development has allocated USD 7.7 million to go towards funding small projects in villages across Egypt, 68% of which are led by women.
All of these projects target people of low income to help improve their living conditions and their income, and reduce unemployment rates through offering loans with little to no interest.
Since July 2022, 1,722 projects have been funded with investments of up to EGP 29.4 million. 1,131 of these projects are located in Upper Egyptian governorates, including Aswan, Minya, and Sohag.
