General Authority of Culture Palaces Launches Skill Makers Project
The programme will cover a wide range of fields, from crafts and arts to digital skills and community development.

The General Authority of Culture Palaces is set to launch the “Skill Makers” project at Al Samer Theatre in Cairo on September 24th, 2025. The initiative is designed to transform culture palaces, libraries, and other cultural venues into hubs for knowledge, community engagement, and economic production through training workshops and accredited courses.
The programme will cover a wide range of fields, from crafts and arts to digital skills and community development. Experienced practitioners will deliver workshops within participating cultural sites, and participants will receive accredited certificates upon completion. The model aims to broaden access to practical learning, support the transfer of expertise, and strengthen public involvement in cultural programming across Egypt’s national network of venues.
The launch event will present the project’s framework and mechanisms, followed by cultural performances. The Kafr El Sheikh Folklore Troupe will stage an operetta, while Opera Arabi troupes for both children and adults will perform as part of the ceremony.
