Mobile Clinics With Free Reproductive Healthcare Roll Out Across Egypt
The Ministry of Health and Population and the National Council for Women collaborate on a new family planning campaign.
The Ministry of Health and Population is rolling out mobile clinics to provide free reproductive healthcare services to government employees across 16 ministries over the next three months.
The free service is part of the ministry’s ‘Nazemy’ campaign, which hopes to spread awareness on reproductive health services, family planning, and women’s economic empowerment in collaboration with the National Council for Women.
The campaign is set to provide families - especially women - with the necessary knowledge, tools, and services to make healthy reproductive choices, and educate them on the risks of successive pregnancies within a short period of time. The mobile clinics will also spotlight 165 free reproductive healthcare facilities across Egypt to increase awareness and access to existing services.
