NGOs in Abu Dhabi to Be Increased to Address Social Issues
An increase in the number of NGOs hopes to more adequately address societal issues such as elderly care and family stability.

The government of Abu Dhabi will expand the number of non-governmental organisations in the Emirate in order to more effectively address social issues. Issues such as elderly care, more regular exercise, and family stability stand out as notable societal issues which the government seeks to more robustly address through NGO engagement.
Currently, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has licenced 94 NGOs, 49 social enterprises and 52 volunteer teams.
