National Initiative Offers Free Cancer Screenings Across Egypt
These screenings will primarily target lung, prostate, colorectal and cervical cancers.

The Ministry of Health and Population has launched the first phase of a national initiative to offer free cancer screenings in Egyptian citizens who are at least 18 years old. These screenings will primarily target lung, prostate, colorectal and cervical cancers.
The initiative aims to identify these cancer cases as early as possible, in the hopes of reducing the death rate and providing financial assistance to patients.
These screenings will be available across nine Egyptian governorates including Alexandria, Al Bahariya, Marsa Matrouh, Deamitta, Al Qalubiya, Al Fayoum, Asuit, South Sinai and Port Said.
