New National Hotline Will Be Dedicated to Patients With Heart Diseases
The hotline is part of a campaign to raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases and provide emergency services to patients.

The Ministry of Health and Population has allocated a new hotline, 16474, to provide support for patients with angina pectoris, temporary chest pain, or discomfort as a result of decreased blood flow to the heart.
The hotline will offer places for critical care and incubators in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population’s hospitals as well as university hospitals, as well as serve as a link to emergency services in order to send an ambulance to the patient’s location.
The launch of the hotline coincides with a new campaign, with the slogan ‘Every Second of Life’, which aims to spread awareness about the symptoms of angina pectoris, heart attacks and ways to avoid heart disease and deal with critical cases of a patient with suspected angina pectoris.
