An interview with the squash champion can be found on page 67 of the new Arabic Language textbook for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has included an interview with the world No.1 squash champion, Ali Farag, on page 67 of its new Arabic Language textbook for first-year middle school students, which will be used during the 2024-2025 academic year.
In the interview, Ali Farag recounts his squash journey in elegant Fusha, saying, "I started playing at around the age of five. Initially, it was because I looked up to my older brother, who began playing several years before me and showed a clear talent for the game. I then developed a love for the sport and for sports in general. It was a blessing from God that I began playing at such a young age."
The ministry has made the Arabic Language textbook available on its official website, allowing first-year middle school students to download the entire year's syllabus. The new textbook covers a variety of subjects, including "Sport, Identity, Literature, Poetry, and Friendship."
