Nominations Open for Saudi Arabia’s National Cultural Awards
Submissions for the sixth edition of the awards programme are open until April 1st, 2026.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture has launched the sixth edition of the National Cultural Awards in Riyadh, opening nominations to members of the cultural community and the public.
Individuals can nominate themselves or others through the programme’s official website, with submissions remaining open until April 1st, 2026. The awards recognise achievements across the Kingdom’s cultural sectors and aim to highlight contributions by both individuals and institutions.
The programme is divided into two categories. The Main Awards include Cultural Personality of the Year Award, Youth Culture Award, Business Leaders Award, Cultural Institutions Award (For-Profit), Cultural Institutions Award (Non-Profit), Cultural Media Award and International Cultural Excellence Award.
The Sectoral Awards cover 12 cultural disciplines: Literature Award, Publishing Award, Theatre and Performing Arts Award, Culinary Arts Award, Architecture and Design Award, Translation Award, Fashion Award, Film Award, National Heritage Award, Music Award, Visual Arts Award and Handcraft Award.
