Non-Profit East Capital University to Be Established in Mostakbal City
The private university will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Council of Private Universities.

East Capital University is being set up as a new private institution in Mostakbal City.
The institution is non-profit in purpose and will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Council of Private Universities. The university will open with nine faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Media, Economics and Business Administration, Physical Therapy, and Arts and Design.
East Capital University will function as both a teaching and research centre. Its objectives include raising the standard of education, preparing graduates in key professional fields, and offering research services to external organisations. It is also required to invest in modern equipment, develop strong cultural and scientific ties with other universities, and integrate advanced academic practices.
The university’s funding structure includes licence and annual fees directed to national education and talent funds, as well as a student contribution to support families of martyrs.
