Noor Riyadh Wins 12 Global Awards & Four Guinness World Records
Guinness records were made for the world’s largest moving water-based art installation, largest illuminated emoji, largest projection mapping on a building using AI, and the largest 3D-printed mural.
Noor Riyadh 2025 concluded its latest edition with 12 international awards and four Guinness World Records, marking its most decorated year to date. The honours include recognition from the LIT Lighting Design Awards, Muse Design Awards, New York Architecture Awards and TITAN Awards — positioning the festival among the most awarded light-art events globally.
Guinness records were made for the world’s largest moving water-based art installation, largest illuminated emoji, largest projection mapping on a building using AI, and the largest 3D-printed mural artwork.
Alongside its international recognition, Noor Riyadh also continued its growth in scale and public engagement. More than 7 million people visited this year’s festival, which featured 60 artworks by 59 artists from 24 countries.
The theme, 'In the Blink of an Eye', extended across installations in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, Qasr Al-Hokm District, JAX District, Al-Faisaliah Tower, the King Abdullah Financial District and surrounding spaces. Workshops, panel sessions, tours and family programmes further broadened participation.
Organisers said the awards reflect Riyadh’s growing international profile in public art and culture — with new projects, including Tuwaiq Sculpture 2026, set to follow.
